Stones Green is very much a small hamlet found to the South of Manningtree and to the North of Thorpe-le-Soken popular with those looking for rural and semi-rural living.

Predominantly the housing stock consists of well spaced out homes, often with larger gardens backing or fronting onto fields along the 'main' carriageways.
